Austin Crisp

Bio

Coach Austin Crisp is the Head Coach, Offensive Coordinator, and Quarterbacks Coach at Ringgold High School. The 2026 season marks his 15th year coaching football and his 9th year at Ringgold High School.

Coach Crisp has previously coached at Saddle Ridge, Gordon Lee, and Lafayette High Schools, with experience coaching Linebackers, Defensive Backs, Quarterbacks, and Wide Receivers. Throughout his career, he has served as both a Defensive Coordinator and an Offensive Coordinator.

He joined Ringgold High School in 2018 as the Quarterbacks Coach and was named Offensive Coordinator in 2020, assuming responsibility for offensive play-calling. Over the past six seasons, the Tigers’ offense has averaged more than 30 points per game. The upcoming season will be his fourth year serving as Head Coach of the Tigers.

A native of Chickamauga, Georgia, Coach Crisp graduated from Gordon Lee High School in 2011, where he was a four-year letterman, a three-year starter in football, and a multi-sport athlete. He earned his undergraduate degree from Western Governors University, where he received the Excellence Award for Teacher Work Samples in the graduate program for his work in the classroom. He also holds a master’s degree in Coaching & Fitness Leadership from the University of the Cumberlands.

Coach Crisp is married to Anna Crisp, the Head Cheerleading Coach at Ringgold High School, and they have one child, Harper Rae.
